Vicki Atkinson

Victoria Atkinson MRSS

Vicki took her sculpture degree at City and Guilds of London Art School in the late 1980s where the emphasis was on a classical training in life drawing and sculpture.

Having completed several portraits, she was commissioned to produce a life size bronze statue of Rudyard Kipling for Burwash High Street in 2019.

Her more abstracted work captures the essence (soul) of a person and although her figures are often static, their stillness has a presence. 

In October of 2023 Vicki was elected as member of the Royal Society of Sculptors (MRSS).
