Exhibitions At The Stormont Studio
The Stormont Studio part of the gallery provides the home for RAG Permanent Collection, FRAG events and a location for special exhibitions, including periodic events by Rye College. The gallery is entered through the Easton Rooms at 107 High Street.
Rye College GCSE Exhibition
Rye College exhibits a selection of GCSE work (age 15/16) in the Stormont upper Studio.
Colin Spencer exhibits new paintings
Artist, playright and author, Colin Spencer exhibits new work in the Stormont Studio from 11th September to 9 October 2010. Please see his website below for other details.

An exhibition about the face, the eyes, the profile and the portrait. Contrasting work on loan or drawn from our own Permanent Collection including by : Jacob Epstein, Gaudier-Brzeska, Eric Gill and Oswald Moser.
A small selection covering the life and work of Captain Pugwash creator, John Ryan
Cartoonist John Ryan, creator of the Captain Pugwash TV series died in hospital in Rye, East Sussex, aged 88.
An Edward Burra Selection
A selection of images drawn from the Permanent collection are showing in the "Burra Room" area of the Stormont Studio.
Ivon Hitchens in context
This exhibition was originally curated by local artist, Paula Macarthur, to coincide with the FRAG talk for the 2009 Rye Festival. It has now been refreshed to provide a further backdrop to our renovated Ivon Hitchens images: John Piper, Edward Burra, Ceri Richards and others.
Children's Art and Craft workshops and Student Study Sessions
Details of topics, times, age groups and costs of the Workshops are available by phoning the Gallery. Children are tutored by professional artists and teachers at Half-terms and during the School holidays. The building programme may prevent some activities in 2009.
