I am an experimental painter often applying paint straight from the tube, building up layers, and then scraping through with a palette knife. The changing light and drama of the surrounding countryside is a regular theme in my paintings which I like to describe as "organic" in that they evolve naturally and find their own direction. I am particularly fond of farm buildings and lighthouses which also feature regularly in my work.
My paintings are now in private collections throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA and are shown in several galleries in Sussex and Kent. I have also exhibited in London at the Mall Galleries, The Affordable Art Fair and Bankside Gallery where I was awarded a prize at the Royal Watercolour Society's Open Exhibition.
I am also a member of the Rye Society of Artists.
