Davida Smith
Davida works solely in etching producing limited edition prints.
She studied Fine Art at Central St. Martins School of Art graduating with a BA Hons in Sculpture.
She followed this with Post Graduate Printmaking Studies at Central St. Martins, tutored by Norman Ackroyd who introduced her to the wonders of etching and aquatint.
On moving to Rye, East Sussex some years ago, she began absorbing the landscape into her work, which to this day remains her primary interest.
"My work involves the reduction and simplification of aspects of the world around me translated through an abstract view."
Davida exhibits widely in galleries throughout the UK.
