“Many of my works are invented landscapes inspired by experiences in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas.
I often work from sketches and notes done in India, but mostly from memory. This landscape is an invention of somewhere exotic, toxic, magical, and sublime. It is a visualisation of some sort of elusive emotion.”
